November Shadows includes four parts exploring the concept of embracing our shadows. The series invites you to explore personal growth and self-awareness. Each part will wrap up with a few quick tips on managing potential stress associated with November.
Each part includes vivid examples—such as journaling about fears, meditating on formative experiences, or seeking therapeutic support—to illustrate the process. Throughout the series, you’ll find practical exercises and reflective prompts to help you explore and embrace your own shadow, making the journey both meaningful and accessible.
Part 1 - Defining Shadow:
The series begins by defining the word “shadow” both from our English dictionary and the American Psychological Association (APA) dictionary. Going on to define the common phrase, "shadow work”. Providing reasons why shadow work matters. Guiding you in seeking your answer to why it matters in your life? Wrapping up with tips on preparing for and living your November.

Traces the history and development of shadow work, showing how these concepts have evolved and why they are relevant today. Wrapping up with with tips on staying in the moment with intermittent routines to prepare and practice putting your goals into action.

We will dive into the significance of embracing our shadows and learn about other people’s healing journeys, discovering how individuals overcome emotional pain and integrate hidden aspects of themselves. Wrapping up with self awareness exercises while introducing spaces to help with managing emotions and challenging toxic thoughts. *Plus bonus action plan for setting healthy boundaries
