      • Why a Kickstarter?

        • To boost productivity, to create pre-recorded courses, create course materials, including themed workbooks, then enhance and ensure these courses and workbooks are high quality

        • Though Grants are now being explored, and ‘doors’ are finally opening, our team will be able to accomplish the goals of Phase 1 quicker with ability to produce higher quality content.

          • Note: The Kickstarter has been applied for, though not yet approved.

          Expanded Explanation of Purpose of Kickstarter

          Our Courses will be used to meet the needs of two different groups:

          • The Public: These courses will be open-access, that is free to the public.

            • Increase Health Literacy

            • Contribute to the ongoing growth of our Mission and Vision

            • Electronic course materials can be downloaded for free

            • Physical course materials will be available for purchase via our “Impossible” store and profits will be used to create and update more courses.

          • The Professional: Offered for professional development and continuing education via contracts and accreditations from various licensing and credentialing entities

            • Pricing:

            • Depends on cost for application to be a continuing education provider for their credentialling body

            • Amount of time taken to take the open access version of the course and ensure it’s relevancy and specific practical knowledge specific profession specific professionals license or credential - aka weaving in the most recent scientific findings, research, resources, and useful practical skills.

            • If they have a professional membership

            • If 2025 Founding Member or 2026 Founding member

            • Number of continuing education credits offered for the course

              Our professional development courses will be the back bone supporting our mission

              Professionals choosing to purchase one or more of our courses to meet their continuing education needs will not only be updating and expanding their knowledge and ability to meet the complex needs of our diverse community, they will, literally be….

              Providing the resources necessary for the creation, updating, editing, marketing, and enhance access to our library of open access courses. Allowing the Health Education Initiative to expand services and follow through with our vision.

          • An additional purpose will be to create the first set of workbooks offered in each course (recovery in action for eating disorders for adolescents, recovery in action for eating disorders - adults, and self-awareness in action - foundational curriculum) . To create the 12 month themed deluxe “Self-Awareness in Action” workbooks. Two versions of each workbook will be available:

            • Individual Workbook: Designed to use if taking the courses on your own, while working with your therapist or nutritionist, or licensed mental health care provider.

            • Professional Workbook: Designed to use with clients on individual basis - or - utilize options for group sessions. Each workbook will include fully designed interactive groups. Directions, some resources, and suggested additional resources for at least 8 interactive groups or lessons will be provided in each workbook.

            • Workbooks will be also be adapted to meet the needs of our diverse population. Offered in different languages, at different reading levels, differentiated for people needing larger print, and expanding access to people with disabilities ensuring highest level of quality, accuracy, accessibility, and inclusion.

      • Example: We will NOT recommend diets, weight loss products, or offers for changing bodies; no political advertising; and, we reserve the right to determine whether or not your work is in line with our mission, vision, and values.
